Doctoral ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs Edmund Mtangwanika Chirambo and Jing Chen, along with associate professor Samantha M. Paredes Scribner, all from ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ’s Department of Educational Leadership, recently published their case study, “Opportunity or Outcast? Navigating Risks and Threats of Life as an International Student at U.S. Universities,” in the Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership.

The publication examines the growing risks and stressors faced by international ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs in U.S. higher education, including visa challenges, cultural adjustment, and social isolation. Through their case narrative and teaching activities, the authors invite readers to consider how institutional leaders can better support and advocate for this ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ community.
