Two Sports Analytics ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs finished top in the nation at the Collegiate Sport Analytics Championship

¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ sport analytics ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs Lauren Skelley and Blake Brewer finished top in the 2026 National Collegiate Sport Analytics Championship, which was held Feb 16 - 17 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Lauren Skelley earned top 15 and Blake Brewer finished top 30 in the undergraduate division. ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ also earned 9th place in the overall team ranking.
The competition challenges participants to analyze complex sports data and present actionable insights in pitch-style presentations evaluated on analytical rigor, data visualization, and communication skills.
Ryan Chen, Ph.D., assistant professor in SLAM, mentored the ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs as they applied their skills in this highly competitive national event.
