  • Access the Workday site at MiamiOH.edu/workday.
  • Bookmark Workday for easy access.

HELPFUL HINT: Workday is part of Single-Sign-On (SSO) and will require Duo.

User Profile

Review your personal information for accuracy. For example, check the following:

  • Name
  • Work Address
  • Home Address
  • Personal Phone Number

Update your Emergency Contact Information

  • This information was NOT transferred from Banner, so you will need to add it.

If your personal information is not correct or is incomplete, please update it using your Workday Profile tabs.

Benefits Elections

Review your benefits elections and dependents information. Confirm your beneficiaries are correct. Changes due to a qualifying life event may also be submitted directly in Workday.

If your beneficiary or dependent information is not correct or is incomplete, please update it using employee self-service. For more information about Beneficiary information in Workday, please visit the Workday Alerts page.

Professional Information

Review your professional information for accuracy. For example, check the following:

  • Position Title
  • Hire Date
  • Compensation
  • Supervisor/Manager Information
  • Organizational Chair (if applicable)

Time Entry (Hourly Employees)

For the week of July 1-5, you will continue to use TCP for recording your time.

Begin to enter your time in Workday on your first shift worked after July 5.

W-4 Elections

Time Off Requests and Balances

  • Enter your future time off requests and review your time off balance(s).
  • Salaried employees will have no absence information in their Workday Employee Profile for the first few weeks of July.
  • Classified employees (paid hourly) have leave balances loaded and available in the absence section of their profile.

Organizational Chart

From your employee profile, click on the Team icon and verify that your position is within the correct department and aligned with the correct manager/supervisor.
