I am honored and privileged to serve as the Dinesh & Ila Paliwal Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC).

I am personally dedicated to building a ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ body representative of many different backgrounds through active recruitment and retention. My commitment extends to creating a welcoming environment where every ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ, faculty member, and staff member can contribute and flourish. 

Our faculty are exceptional teacher-scholars who employ innovative and dynamic teaching methods to excite and motivate every ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ. They are also engaged in world-class research, funded by prestigious federal and state agencies, as well as industry partners. This research is vertically integrated, with undergraduate ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs working side-by-side with graduate ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs and faculty. Many of our ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs have earned prestigious fellowships such as the Goldwater, Fulbright, and Astronaut Scholarships. We also pride ourselves on nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of our faculty and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs by encouraging technology commercialization and collaboration with university-wide initiatives.
